Got back from SHOT Show on Wednesday and it’s taken me all this time just to write this short blurb to let you know I will have a blog posting by Wednesday this week. My husband and I attended the Industry Day at the Range and got to see some new products. AR-15’s seemed to the order of the day but there were new pistols, new ammunition, full auto’s and long range rifles not to mention accessories galore. It was colorful with banners, loud with gun fire, busy with people and just plain dusty and chilly.
We got to shoot guns and not pay for the ammunition but I will tell you more about that in my blog. It was good to meet old friends again and even better to make new ones. It’s always fun to find out where someone is from, how the shooting is there, what the political lay of the land is in other parts of the country and know we all have a common bond.
We ended our visit at SHOT Show at the Sands EXPO Convention Center and talk about noisy… this time minus the gun fire. There were 64,000 attendees from all over the world and it kept reminding me of the Tower of Babel from the bible…many languages. I tried doing some audio taping a few times but with no success but I will have a small video or two for you as soon as I figure out how to edit them.
We walked and walked and walked… I wished I had thought to wear a pedometer. But it was, as always, informative, colorful and fun. I will touch base with you all tomorrow on Facebook when I post my blog for you. Thanks for following me there and touching base here still.
Check out our new blog where Jim Krueger and I do a little ranting now and then about everything. You'll find it on Blogger at http://kate-krueger.blogspot.com/
Some of the podcasts should be up and running soon so watch for them on your smart phones, my website at http://www.kktgradio.com or the Gun Rights Network. I will let you know what's happening on Facebook. Hopefully you enjoyed some of the photos from last SHOT.
Don't forget if you ever find yourself in need of a good conservative speaker feel free to ask. I'm still always up for a chat.
Many Thanks again from all of us for all your support,
